NatureScaping
April 16, 2011
NatureScaping was held at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park on April 16, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event was free and featured environmental speakers, Florida native plant vendors, and other exhibitors promoting environmental awareness. The Stormwater And Me program had our public education booth set up and staffed for the event. 109 tote bags, 34 notepads, 33 pens, and 150 water bottles, all bearing stormwater cleanup messages, were distributed. We also conducted our first 26 stormwater education surveys.

Delray Beach Earth Day Event
April 9, 2011
The City of Delray Beach celebrated "Earth Day on the Avenue" and distributed 200 of each SAM brochure, 100 tote bags, 120 notepads with pens, and 120 aluminum water bottles. Thank you to all who made this possible!

North Palm Beach Heritage Festival
April 2, 2011
Four volunteers from the Village of North Palm Beach hosted an information booth and distributed Stormwater And Me program outreach materials at the festival, attended by approximately 3,000 people. During the event, the following outreach materials were given out:

• 273 Illicit Discharge/Illegal Dumping brochures
• 270 Pesticide, Herbicide, & Fertilizer Reduction brochures
• 200 folding totes with illicit discharge message
• 160 notepads with illicit discharge message
• 200 pens with pullout information sheet
• 75 K’POW stickers
• 120 water bottles with illicit discharge message

Thanks to everyone that participated and everyone that stopped by to learn more about our stormwater.

Fiesta de Pueblo - Greenacres
March 19, 2011
The City of Greenaces hosted their annual Fiesta de la Pueblo event again this year. Employees of the Public Works department hosted a table to distribute stormwater education information. During the event, the following were given away: 200 each of the two public education brochures, 166 SAM notepads, 50 K’POW stickers, and 69 K’POW keychains.

Delray International Tennis Championship
February 18-27, 2011
The City of Delray Beach Community Service Department hosted a table at the International Tennis Championship in Delray Beach. They requested and distributed 200 each of the two public education brochures and 500 SAM pens.

Jupiter Jubilee
February 5, 2011
The Town of Jupiter again presented the Jupiter Jubliee celebrating their community. Stormwater And Me program hosted a table within the Civic Fair area and distributed public education materials related to stormwater. The following items were disbursed: 47 Illicit Discharge/Illegal Dumping brochures, 42 Pesticide, Herbicide & Fertilizer Reduction brochure, 253 SAM tote bags, 195 SAM notepads, 205 K’POW key chains.

Delray Beach Kids Presentation

The City of Delray Beach held an educational event for second graders and gave away 70 K’POW key chains.

Your Success is Our Priority - Delray Beach

The City of Delray Beach held an event for local businesses and took the opportunity to distribute Stormwater And Me public education outreach materials. The 30 participants each received a copy of each brochure, a notepad, a calendar, and the pen.

Chris Evert/Raymond James Celebrity Tennis Event
November 5-7, 2010
During the 3 day celebrity tennis event, the City of Delray Beach Public Outreach department handed out materials produced by the Stormwater And Me public education program.

Wyland’s Living Green Fair

The Stormwater And Me public education program was asked to participate in the Public Greenwise Market Earth Day Celebration on April 22, 2010, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., at the Palm Beach Gardens location.
